GSB AUCTIONS

On the 10^th of October 2023, TAQA offered long-term storage capacity for a period between five years and 10 years. All 5 TWh on offer was sold and overall demand above the reserve price was almost three times oversubscribed.

The reserve price was 3 €/SBU, capacity was sold with a cut-off price of 4.06 €/SBU and the weighted average price was 4.20 €/SBU (both as ‘five-year equivalent’).

ADDITIONAL LONG-TERM AUCTION

This was the first long-term auction held by TAQA. Due to high demand we have decided to organise an additional auction for long-term capacity. The first product on offer is based on an index linked to the summer/winter spread on the TTF with a minimum price of 2.20 €/SBU. The second product is exactly the same fixed-price product as the previous one. The auction is planned for the 5th of December 2023, 4 TWh is available for the indexed and 3 TWh is allocated to the fixed-price product. For the tenor you can choose for a period between five and 10 years.

SHORT-TERM AUCTION FOR STORAGE YEAR 2024

For storage year 2024, another 3 TWh will be auctioned on the 12th of December 2023 where we will split the volume in 1 TWh for a fixed product and 2 TWh for an indexed product with a minimum price of 2.20 €/SBU. For more information click here.
