TAQA is the operator of Gas Storage Bergermeer and also acts as the marketing agent for all storage capacity that is available for third parties. EBN, an independent company with the Dutch State as its sole shareholder, holds a 40% stake in Gas Storage Bergermeer. Gazprom Export is one of the most successful and advanced Russian companies. In 2017, the volume of natural gas exports to far-abroad countries amounted to 194 billion cubic meters.

Russia’s gas exports constitute a vital part of European energy security, which has been borne out by more than 40 years of experience in supplying gas to the European continent.
